As we move closer to the start of camp, we’ll be looking back on some great moments from the last few years. This week, we’ll celebrate the beginning of Staff Activity for 2017. As is tradition, Lifeguard Training takes place for staff members in the days before camp, an adventure that’s been led by resident Red Cross Instructor Tim Mendenhall since 1937, when camp moved to it’s current location from Strawberry Point. Tim can be a character, but he’s a fine teacher, and because of his work we all get to have fun out on the waterfront. Get excited! It’s almost dip time in the North woods. Woo Woo!
